You Are Welcome Here
Because we follow Christ, absolutely everyone is welcome. We don’t assume or presume you to be Christian; we only hope to follow Christ’s example of welcome and love to all. In our culture, there’s a lot of public misuse of Christian and religious language. We hope that won’t discourage you from joining us.
You don’t need to know anything before you visit—simply come and join us. Join us online or come visit in person, We welcome you as we all learn and grow in our faith. The best way to get to know us is by joining us for worship on Sundays at 10 am in the Sanctuary or via livestream.

Our Vision

Manassas Presbyterian Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and we are in the National Capital Presbytery
What does it mean to be Presbyterian? We follow the Reformed tradition, but Presbyterians are very diverse in our beliefs. There is so much more to being Presbyterian than simply John Calvin or Predestination.
One thing we do all agree on is belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Want to know more? Take a look at Presbyterian 101: A General Guide to Facts about the Presbyterian Church (USA), published by the Presbyterian Mission Agency or watch Theoacademy videos to learn more about reformed theology and faith formation. Feel free to contact us if you would like to know more about MPC.
What if I’m not sure what I believe?
You have doubts or uncertainty about faith? So do we. We believe that doubt is part of having faith. You don’t have to believe everything—or anything—we talk about and teach to be part of MPC. Together we learn, question and grow in faith.

How Do I Join

If you are interested in membership at MPC, we invite you to meet with a pastor at the front of the sanctuary after worship on the third Sunday of any month. Our session clerk and another Ruling Elder will be there as well to meet with you. The only requirement to joining is a profession of belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
You will be asked some contact information and what led you to our church. You can join one of three ways:
On the fourth Sunday of each month, we welcome those who have joined in worship as we all reaffirm our faith together and you meet your new member sponsor who can help with any questions you have about being a part of MPC. We look forward to welcoming you in to our church family.
