Our teachers lead Sunday School for children and youth at 11 am most Sundays. Teachers create a welcoming and loving space for our children to grow in faith and serve as a vital part of their faith journey. Each team includes 2 adults and curriculum is provided. Opportunities are available to lead and assistant teachers. We also need shepherds who help provide a safe environment but are not required to teach.
Arrive a bit early before worship or an event to brew the coffee. Bring treats and/or assist with setting up and serving refreshments, engaging in conversation, and making all who gather for coffee after worship feel at home. By serving in these roles, you support a friendly and inviting atmosphere for our community to connect. Serve regularly or once in a while.
As an inviting presence outside the entryway door on Sunday mornings, your welcoming smile will create a positive and inclusive experience for visitors. From offering a friendly hello to providing directions and assistance, you will help ensure each person entering the church feels valued and at ease. Serve regularly or once in a while.
Our Tech Team plays a vital role in creating a seamless and meaningful worship experience. From operating sound systems to managing visual presentations and live streaming, your participation supports and enhances worship. No experience is necessary and training is provided. Serve regularly or once in a while.
As people enter the sanctuary, ushers create a welcoming environment for worshipers and guests. Ushers guide attendees to their seats, collect offerings, and ensure an orderly service. Our usher teams serve once a month.
Worship liturgists lead the congregation in prayers, litanies, and reading scripture. Our pastors will guide you and provide all the liturgy. Your leadership helps create a worship experience that connects us to one another and to God. Serve regularly or once in a while.
Help beautify the campus by working on a seasonal team to mow, weed, or otherwise help prepare and beautify our property for events and worship services. Equipment is provided, and fellowship always abounds. Serve regularly or as you are able.
Have a knack for finance or a background in bookkeeping or accounting. We do an annual internal audit of our books to supplement the periodic external audits. This is a once a year need usually toward the end of summer.
We invite older elementary aged students and youth to lead us at the beginning of worship by ringing the tower bell at five minutes before worship. They would then serve as acolyte lighting candles to be used in worship that Sunday and then extinguishing them at the end of the worship service and carrying Christ’s light back out into the world. This is a weekly need that you can serve regularly or once in a while.
On the last Tuesday of every month from 3pm to 5pm, we picnic. Sign up to be a part of one, a few or all of our picnics. We have specific food needs as well as grilling/cooks and server positions. Come share the hope of Christ with all of our neighbors and break bread together. Some months there is a seasonal theme and sometimes inclement weather will move this to a ‘to go’ meal experience. Want to help in an additional way – we are open to all the helpers and more involvement in this activity.
