We are pleased to offer you a convenient method for giving your tithes and offerings online. Online giving is also available to those outside our worshipping community who wish to financially support ministries at MPC by giving to the church’s general operating expenses or various special offerings. Clicking on the link below will open a new secure donation page, maintained by ACS Technologies and Vanco Payment Solutions. If you have not set up the online giving account, the site will prompt you to enter an email address or log in as a guest. Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to:Enter the amount of your donationChoose a fund: Annual stewardship contribution, General Operating expenses or various special offerings Give a one-time donation or set up a recurring paymentTransfer funds from a bank account (checking or savings account) or pay by credit or debit cardAfter completing the transaction you will receive an email confirmation with a link to set up a Realm account password. After setting up the account password you will be routed to the Realm website. From the Realm site you will be able to view your Member Profile, your giving summary and other information pertaining to your church membership

Special Offerings

Per Capita

Per Capita Offering: As a member congregation of National Capital Presbytery, MPC supports the mission, leadership, teaching, and operations of the presbytery through our annual per capita payment. This offering is received in January.

Rise Against Hunger

Rise Against Hunger: Since 2014, MPC has hosted a meal-packing event for Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now). The Mission Ministry team sponsors the first 10,000 meals and members are encouraged to make donations to increase the number of meals we can pack each year.

One Great Hour of Sharing

One Great Hour of Sharing: This offering is received each year on Palm Sunday, and supports Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, The Presbyterian Hunger Program, and The Presbyterian Committee on the Self-Development of People.

Pastor's Discretionary Fund

Pentecost Offering

Pentecost Offering: 40% of the offering is retained by individual congregations wanting to make an impact in the lives of young people within their own community.

Christmas Joy Offering

This has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s and is received on Christmas Eve.The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families.Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and leadership development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage. This has been a Presbyterian commitment for nearly 140 years.
