In Pursuit of Life

The Lord has given us life, a gift of fleeting days to walk this earth.  He has also given us the freedom to live out those days in whatever manner we choose.  We can use our days wisely treating them as the most precious gift one could receive or watch them fly by virtually unnoticed, one day simply moving to the next. So what really matters in Life?  What gives life meaning and purpose?  Are we here to simply enjoy the fruits of our labors until our days end?  Is there a deeper, richer, more valuable meaning to life than work, rest and leisure?  What endures?  What makes a difference in the lives of those around us? Do we have     unbounded freedom to live as we wish or is there accountability to God?

Join us Sunday mornings in Room 38 as we search for answers to these questions.  We will be focused on the  wisdom of the writer of Ecclesiastes and his teachings along with three current pastor/writers and their reflections on life. The class will be facilitated by Gene Barndt.
